Puri: The administration's preparations for the holy Devsnan Purnima at the Puri temple have reached the final stage. The temple administration has given special emphasis on the smooth completion of the Devsnan ritual and the disciplined darshan of the devotees.

A high-level review meeting was held in the temple tonight in this regard. Dr. Arvind Padhi, the chief administrator of the temple, reviewed all the preparations at the temple for the upcoming Devsnan Purnima. District Magistrate Divya Jyoti Parida, Central IG Satyajit Nayak, SP Prateek Singh and senior officers of the temple and district police administration were present in this review.

All the rituals are going on smoothly as per the schedule decided earlier in the Policy Sub-Committee, Chhatisha Niyog and Management Committee. It is hoped that with the cooperation of the Sevayat, Devsnan Purnima will also be completed smoothly.

Special arrangements have been made to ensure that the Pahandi, 108 Gara Jallagi and the famous Hati besha of Mahaprabhu remain intact and the devotees can have darshan with ease. Some specific restrictions have also been issued for the devotees. Devotees will enter only through Singhadwar and after having darshan at the Snana Mandap, they will exit through the North, South and West gates.

Similarly, some parts of the barricade from Market Chack to the temple in Badadand will be kept open, so that the devotees in Badadand can also have darshan of the Chaturdha Vigraha residing at the Snana Mandap.

It was decided in the meeting that all the services and administration will work in coordination with each other for the successful implementation of the orderly Devasnan and the subsequent Rath Yatra rituals. Extensive preparations are underway by the temple administration and the district

Administration to make the Devasnan Purnima and the upcoming world-famous Rath Yatra safe, orderly and devote-oriented.
