AAP has taken a major step to strengthen the organizational strength of Aam Aadmi Party in Odisha. 7 co-incharges appointed by the central office in Delhi have reached Odisha and will oversee organizational activities in all 147 assembly constituencies of the state for the next three months.

Under the direct supervision of state president Nishikant Mohapatra, these co-incharges will visit the assembly constituencies divided into different zones and strengthen the organization at the grassroots level. In the first phase, an assembly-level review meeting will be held. State organization President, district presidents and active workers will participate in it.

The team of co-incharges arriving from Delhi includes Ajit Pal, Dinesh Kumar, Pradeep Mittal, Praveen Kumar Kavya, Puneet Ray, Rabindra Bhardwaj and TK Rajora. The party has said that the party organization in Odisha will be further strengthened with their long organizational experience.

State President Nishikant Mohapatra said that the party will be strengthened at the grassroots level before the upcoming Panchayat and Municipal elections. The party aims to field candidates for all the seats of Panchayat, District Council and Municipality. Party leaders have expressed the opinion that this step by the central leadership is important for building an alternative political force in Odisha.
